Prison Island, Nakupenda Sandbank & Stone Town Tour

We leave hotel by taxi to Stone town where we take a boat to Prison Island and Nakupenda Sandbank.
We start with the Prison Island, where you’ll encounter Giant Aldabra tortoises, peacocks and dik-diks while learning about the island’s colonial past.

Next, head to the stunning Nakupenda Sandbank, a secluded paradise with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and a delicious BBQ seafood lunch with soft drinks right on the beach.

In the afternoon, return to Stone Town for a cultural walking tour. Visit the Former Slave Market Museum, Old Fort, House of Wonders, Freddie Mercury Museum, and stroll through Forodhani Park, with time to browse local shops for souvenirs.

PROGRAMMA ESCURSIONE

We meet at your hotel reception and take a taxi to Stone town. We take a boat to Prison Island.
We start with the Prison Island where we take a boat from stone town. On the Island, you will explore Giant Aldabra tortoise, Peacocks and Dik-dik and learn a colonial history about the Island.

After prison Island, we take a boat to Nakupenda Sandbank. Nakupenda is a Unique, Romantic Sandbank in the middle of the ocean with the clean white sand. You walk, swim and sunbathe. The delicious beach BBQ lunch is offered with Soft drinks.

At 14h30, we take a boat again back to stone town where you will explore Forma Slave Market Museum, The old fort, House of wonders, Freddie Mercury Museum, Forodhani park and various shops for souvenir. The tour ends around 18h15
