IN AN EXCLUSIVE VINTAGE SAILING SHIP

WHAT WILL YOU DO :

The DOVESESTO is an ancient and splendid sailing ship almost centenary at anchor in the port of Cala Gonone. From here it leaves every day at 10.30 for the mini cruise in the Gulf of Orosei, to discover the most beautiful beaches and caves along the "Wild Blue" route.

TRIP DETAILS

The program of the mini-cruise is variable at the discretion of the Commander, who assesses the weather conditions of the day, will propose to guests the best route and stops to fully enjoy a beautiful day at sea.

We tell you about a day like this: "Just outside the port, the ship sails along the imposing limestone cliffs eroded by the sea. Its pace allows you to admire closely the different sceneries of rocks and forest that follow, interspersed only by the numerous coves: Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Biriola, Le Piscine di Venere, Cala Mariolu, Cala Goloritze.
Leaving Cala Luna you sail to the side of Cala Sisine after about an hour of navigation. Continuing to the height of Cala Biriola, a lovely little pink beach, we have our first stop at Piscine di Venere.

The sailing ship Dovesesto from the bottom to the anchor, and it will be possible to swim in the emerald-colored water of a radiant transparency and then come back on board by the comfortable side ladder. After about forty minutes, we then make our way to Cala Mariolu or Cala dei Gabbiani, two pearls of the gulf of an indescribable beauty where our guests can enjoy the longest stop of the day of about two hours.
We resume the navigation and arrive at the base of the Aguglia, imposing elongated rock that stands alone from the sea and we will admire closely the spectacular natural arch of Goloritze.
Just north of this last cove we stop to reach with the boat the hidden mouth of a cave, to find ourselves inside, dazzled by games of light never seen. Here at the dive it is impossible to give up.

When the sailboat sails home, a little off the coast, on the route where often the dolphins come to greet us with their jumps, before returning to the port we stop for a swim at anchor or for the last beach stop in Cala Sisine or Cala Luna.
